Where are we heading in this country? We have politicians in Australia who blatantly lie just to win an election and become the government. After they achieve this objective, we, the voters become irrelevant. They make laws surreptitiously and we only become aware of them if or when they affect us personally.
For good measure they poison our water with fluoride, in other words, forced mass medication. Put a bit more fluoride in and we will not notice anything what they are doing to us.
Now, they propose that Australia bans 1000s of plants including national flowers. Have our politicians gone mad? If this law doesn’t ring alarm bells with the Australian community, nothing will. There is something seriously wrong with our political system, it badly needs an overhaul. It is manifestly clear that our politicians are just there for the power, the glory and the perks and to hell with the people who voted them in. If we let them get away with this legislation, we deserve what we get.

And, the Carbon tax that the federal government wants to impose on us. We are exporting coal to India and China. They, and the USA are full steam ahead with coal fired power stations to produce electricity. However, those countries do not pay a carbon price; yet, we will be lumbered with one if Gillard has her way. What a double standard. I would like to refer my readers back to an earlier post by Terence Cardwell, who has spent 25 years in the Electricity Commission of NSW, working, commissioning and operating the various power units. His last was the 4 X 350 MW Munmorah Power Station near Newcastle. This is a person who knows what he is talking about.
Here is an excerpt. “The very slight amount exiting the stack is moist, as in condensation and CO2. There is virtually no fly ash because this is removed by the precipitators or bagging plant that are 99.98% efficient. The 4% of energy lost is heat through boiler wall convection.”
Please re-visit this posting by clicking here, and then tell Gillard what you think about the carbon tax. - Werner

Werner you hit the nail on the head, I totally agree with your sentiments. I enjoy reading your informative blog. Keep up the good work. We all admire people who are not affright of saying it as it is.
ReplyDeleteYou are so right, Werner, this country is not what it used to be and you pointed to the right section as to who stuffed up this country. We have to wake up from our slumber and lethargy in this country and elect independents with ability and acumen to parliament that do not have to toe the respective party lines. Our present politicians (Not all, there are exceptions) have the penchant to tell lies, lies and damned just to get elected. How long will it take you to wake up to this and take their word for what it is: A lie! God help us when the Greens totally dictate the agenda from July 1. 2011. They are already at it to some extent. As far as I’m concerned, the only wilderness of a Green is between their collective ears.
