I never ever imagined that I’d see front page headlines like we see in today’s newspapers, such as: Aussie Terrorists, Australian bred jihadist etc, planning to do us harm. Thanks to our security Agencies and the police, they didn’t succeed.
There is Australia wide apprehension and anger that we would reach a point in this country when our federal parliament had to be protected by armed police. And on top of that, the national security level had to be raised to high. There are troubling times ahead. We have to ask, where are we heading in this country? Wouldn't it be time now to stop more Muslims settling in our country? What do you think?
In recent years we opened our doors for Muslim immigration. Many of these people came from countries with an archaic culture and were governed under Sharia law. They brought with them their mindset and dogma, and want to live by it in our country. They refuse to integrate, assimilate and adapt to the Australian way of life or culture. It is becoming increasingly obvious that this culture is not compatible with democratic Australia. This will undoubtedly lead to violent confrontations eventually with the true blue Australian community. We hand out citizenship after only two years, no other country is doing this. There is no language test and the only thing they know about our country is the benefits they will receive. The Bible verse; “you reap what you sow”, takes on a new meaning for Australia.
Not only are these people unwilling to integrate and assimilate; they want to form a parallel society in our country and introduce Sharia law. The basic problem is very clear. Millions of people in the Islamic world (and in Australia) do not believe in free speech, freedom of religion, democracy, a secular state, free enterprise and human rights. (There may be a few exceptions.) Millions of Muslims also have a hatred for Western nations, and one has to wonder why they want to come here. Perhaps their hidden agenda is to take over this country eventually, which is quite feasible since they produce many more children than people from other religions in this country.
Christianity - my religion is not perfect. However, I can criticize them without fear, and non-believers are not threatened in any way. Islam, on the other hand, I’m told, is not a religion, but a “way of life” and, it’s their way or no way, noncompliance does have consequences.
Western Sydney is practically a Muslim enclave, which gives you the impression that you are not in Australia. It is a place where non Muslim Australians and our police are very reluctant to go. Click on this link for more reading.
Our governments were recklessly determined to create a Multicultural Society; a big mistake that they will come to regret. Multiculturalism has proved to be a failure in European countries and the Dutch government says it will abandon the long-standing model of multiculturalism that has encouraged Muslim immigrants to create a parallel society within the Netherlands. The same is happening here so why don’t we follow suit?
Our treasurer is telling us that we have to rein in debt, now they have to find money to challenge IS in Iraq and the government has to spend millions on internal security, just because we have home bred terrorists in our midst. The irony about all this is that we have homeless and hungry people in our country – but there is no money available to help them.
Many people are asking, “Is there a moderate Islam?”
The Prime Minister of the "moderate" Islamic nation of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, said this: "One cannot be a secularist and a Muslim at the same time. The Muslim world is waiting for Turkish people to rise up. The mosques are our barracks, the domes our helmets, the minarets our bayonets, and the faithful our soldiers...this holy army guards my religion. Regarding democracy, he said: "You ride it until you arrive at your destination, then you step off." And finally: "There is no "moderate" Islam. Islam is Islam and that's that." Do our politicians get this message? This should ring alarm bells in Australia. Further reading.
When we came to Australia more than 60 years ago we received a letter from the then Liberal Menzies government; its message was something to this effect: “Welcome to Australia, we wish and hope that you will assimilate and integrate into the Australian way of life, learn our language and apply after five years to become an Australian citizen”. I wonder if our national government sends out such letter to Muslims or other migrants when they arrive here. However, we complied totally with this request and became proud Australian citizens. There is no divided loyalty for us; we don’t forget our roots, but it is our opinion that you can only be loyal to one country and not two.
In those days most migrants came from European countries, they were mostly Christians, but also some Muslims and other religions, but all lived in harmony together to build this wonderful country – that was until more Muslims settled here, then our troubles started.
I worked with a Muslim from the former Yugoslavia, and I cut sugar cane with an Albanian Muslim; they all behaved they same way as everybody else and, none of those two had the urge to pray five times a day. Cairns once had a Councillor who was a Muslim, and he and his family didn’t have a problem fitting into our community. The question begs, why have Muslims suddenly become a problem here?
